Dau Tieng district is now home to 12 study promotion societies with 39 sub-societies. All pre-schools, primary schools and junior high schools herein have so far developed study promotion sub-societies.

 

The district-based community centers last year joined hands with relevant agencies to organize 6 classes on how to grow, tend and exploit rubber trees and many other vocational-oriented classes, absorbing hundreds of learners.

 

In 2011, the whole district had 156 fond-of-learning families and 14 outstanding fond-of-learning ones. The district’s Study Promotion Society also mobilized economic units and donors to present scholarships, insurance cards, notebooks, books…to poor-but-excellent pupils with a total expense of nearly VND100mln.
