Nearly VND210bln mobilized for social charity activities

Since 2011, many models implemented by provincial Red Cross Society have reached and exceeded the set targets. Particularly, the society gave public healthcare with a total expense of nearly VND30mln; offered help to nearly 778,000 cases; mobilized nearly VND210bln from organizations and individuals, helping more than 535,000 needy cases.

Addressing the conference, Mr.Tu spoke highly of achievements done by provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels. He also suggested them to focus on well realizing humanitarian activities, including offering help to poor people, Agent Orange victims…

The conference also nominated additional 8 members for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Inspection Committee of the society.
