New Do Bridge inaugurated to cross Thi Tinh River in Ben Cat town

On the morning of April 22, the People's Committee of Ben Cat Town held a ceremony to inaugurate the construction of the new Do Bridge over the Thi Tinh River and commenced the construction of the headquarters of the Ben Cat town Party Committee, the upgrading of the hot asphalt concrete section from road DT748 to the intersection of Tien Giang, An My hamlet, An Dien commune (socialized construction project). Attending the event was Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council; Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Standing Committee Member of the provincial Party Committee, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

The construction of the new Do bridge over the Thi Tinh river has a total investment of 312 billion VND, from the provincial and town budget, and socialized capital resources; the total length of the bridge is 165.3 meters; the road section is 802 meters long with a scale of 4 lanes. The headquarters of the Ben Cat town's mass organization has a total investment of 45 billion VND from the town budget; the construction area is 756 m²; the total floor area is 2,589 m2. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in June 2025.

The project to upgrade the hot asphalt concrete section from road DT748 to the intersection of Tien Giang has a total investment of 31 billion VND from the town's budget and socialization. The total length of the route is about 1,689 meters with a scale of 2 lanes. This is one of the projects implemented according to Plan No. 03/DA-UBND dated September 14, 2023 of the People's Committee of the town on investing in upgrading red gravel roads and dirt roads in Ben Cat town.
