New image in Dinh Hoa ward

Changes are appearing at Dinh Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot town, especially since the start of this year the ward has looked more beautiful, thanks to urban rejuvenation.

Everyday changes

Dinh Hoa ward was recognized as 5th class urban area in 2008. From 2005 to 2010, basic construction and urban development in the locality were implemented continuously. In the period, the ward had 81 works of rural traffic and urban rejuvenation with the total length of 25.5km.

Along with upgrading routes, Dinh Hoa ward has completed 3 schools including Binh Phu high school, Dinh Hoa secondary school and Dinh Hoa primary school. In addition, the whole ward has reached 100% of households using clean water and national grid.

The locality-based water drainage system has been built synchronously. The ward has completed a lighting system across 21 routes with the total length of 6.3km.

Some crucial traffic works of My Phuoc – Tan Van route, Nguyen Van Thanh road and other traffic works have created a wide traffic network for the local socio-economic development.

100% of rural routes to be asphalted

This is a determination of the ward leadership committee in the 2011-2015 period. Duong Thai Khanh, vice chairman of the ward People’s Committee affirmed that till 2015, the rate of solid houses in the locality will be 98% and 60% of local routes will have lighting system. The ward will asphalt 100% of rural routes.

Especially, Dinh Hoa secondary school and ward culture area are 2 new works marking initial successes of basic construction.

Khanh added that basic construction is paid attention by the locality to make foundations for local socio-economic development. Indeed, Dinh Hoa ward has changed every day.
