New momentum from strategic reorientation
Shifting towards high-quality investment, developing a next-generation industrial park ecosystem and relocating manufacturing plants from the southern region of the province to the northern localities is among strategic development directions that Binh Duong has been actively implementing. That shift clearly demonstrates proactiveness to better suit the general global development trend, meet the real needs of investors while expanding the development space of the province.
Industrial land in Thuan An, Di An and Thu Dau Mot has been exhausted. These localities have become densely populated urban centers, being no longer suitable for further industrial development. The relocation of factories outside industrial parks in the southern areas to northern localities of the province, accompanied by appropriate support policies, has gained strong consensus from the business community, serving the overall development of the province and enterprises.
Under the policy of shifting industrial development to the north, Binh Duong not only focuses on relocating existing factories, but also on planning and building modern, smart next-generation industrial parks at the increasing demand of both domestic and international investors. The construction of VSIP III and other science-technology and information-focused industrial zones serves as the vivid and convincing evidence of this sound strategic direction. Located in Tan Uyen city and North Tan Uyen district, VSIP III has demonstrated strong appeal to global investors through its green modern and intelligent infrastructure. Major international brands such as LEGO have chosen this park to build a green manufacturing plant towards sustainable development.
Localities in the northern region of the province, particularly Bau Bang district have emerged as new growth engines for Binh Duong. In a short period of time, Bau Bang has successfully established and developed modern industrial parks, paving the way for rapid industrial development and investment attraction. To date, Bau Bang has attracted over US$ 4.6 billion in foreign direct investment, a really impressive figure for the newly established district. On the occasion of the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, Binh Duong commenced construction of two industrial parks, Cay Truong and expanded Bau Bang in Bau Bang district to meet the demands of high-quality investors, highlighting the attraction of investment and industrial development in the district in particular and Binh Duong in general.

This move demonstrates the district’s strong industrial and investment appeal and reflects Binh Duong’s broader commitment to attracting high-quality investors and promoting sustainable industrial growth.
