*The Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Hoa commune in Phu Giao district has just organized a ceremony to hand over a “great unity” house to the family of Le Thi Lua in need of housing in Trang San hamlet.

The 56.5-sq.m house has a total construction cost of VND120million, including VND80million from the district’s Fund for the Poor and the remainder from her family. At the ceremony, “Thuc Bich and friends” charity group also donated nearly VND50million to the family.

*The Women’s Union of Phu Loi ward in TDM city has just organized a “supermarket with zero dong” program. Accordingly, poor members of the local Women’s Union were offered free necessities like rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, soya sauces…together with old clothes.

The program was funded by businesses, aiming to offer help with members and women with difficult circumstances.
