*North Tan Uyen district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just presented 36 boxes of Dutch Lady milk to more than 430 poor children in Lac An commune.

Accordingly, each child was given 5 boxes of Dutch Lady milk worth VND25,000. These gifts aimed to help the local poor children get access to a program on public healthcare of Dutch Lady.

*The People’s Committee of Thanh Phuoc ward in Tan Uyen town has just made an inspection tour of poor households under the province’s new poverty line. This tour aimed to provide the locality with data to make a plan on poverty reduction between 2014 and 2015 while putting forward measures to help the local poor and near-poor households rise up and stabilize their lives.

*Nearly 200 pupils from Phu My junior high school in TDM city have just visited Binh Duong Junior College for Agriculture and Forestry. Accordingly, they were given advice on the enrollment of the school and learnt about high school program and majors trained at the school.

*Over the past five years, the Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) of Chanh Nghia ward in TDM city mobilized organizations and individuals to raise VND729.8mln for provincial Fund for the Poor. With this fund, the FFC of Chanh Nghia ward teamed up with sponsors to build 39 great unity houses for households in need of housing.
