The billiards tournament under the 4th provincial Sports Festival has just concluded with results as follows:

In the one-cushion carom event, Pham Quoc Tuan of TDM city won a gold medal while silver and bronze medals belonged to Duong Hong Quang of Phu Giao and Truong Van Trung of TDM city, respectively.

Huynh Thanh Hien of Phu Giao district grasped a gold medal in the three-cushion carom event. Silver and bronze medals were awarded to Do Trung Thu of Phu Giao and Do Trong Tuan of Tan Uyen town, respectively.

This year’s billiards tournament absorbed 76 players across the province. They competed in the one and three-cushion carom events.

*Meanwhile, TDM city topped the bodybuilding tournament under the 4th provincial Sports Festival with 5 gold medals in the events: men’s 60kg-80kg, women’s single, mixed double…It is was followed by Thuan An town and Tan Uyen town, respectively.

This year’s body building tournament attracted 40 athletes across province. They raced for 12 sets of medals. According to Duong Minh Tuan, the main coach of provincial Bodybuilding Team, this year’s body building tournament reached the highest quality over the past four years and it also aimed to sort out outstanding athletes for the 2014 national Sports Festival to be held in northern Nam Dinh province by the end of the year.
