Ngo Quyen University: Establishment and inauguration decision announced for 2013-2014 academic year

Early September 20, Ngo Quyen University was officially announced as established and inaugurated for the new school year of 2013-2014 on the foundation of Military Civil Engineering Officer School.In its preliminary stage, the school offered long-term training of primary and intermediate officers, short-term military engineering officer training for battalions and regiments.In 1992, the school was upgraded to long-term college and by 1998 up to date, the school has offered university training for 4 officer faculties of bridge engineering, crossing river engineering, military motor vehicles, and two more faculties of harbor equipment and airport at university level.Through years, the school has trained 16 courses for nearly 4,000 graduate military officers. In the academic year of 2013-2014, the 5-year plan has been proposed including emulations of learning, studying, working, training, and discipline observing while maintaining regular basis, spiritual life of soldiers who have been working and following moral examples of President Ho Chi Minh.Reported by H.
