Nguyen Hoang Minh Tho of Binh Duong wins 5 gold medals, 1 silver medal at Southeast Asian Open Chess Champs

Do Hoang Minh Tho of Binh Duong’s Chinese chess team had a good performance at the 2012 Southeast Asian Open Chess Championship, which closed in Thua Thien-Hue province yesterday, July 4. 

Particularly, Minh Tho won two gold medals in the single vents: rapid and blitz chess and one silver medal in the girls’U16 standard chess event. She also excellently grasped three gold medals in the team events: rapid, blitz and standard.
