Nguyen Thi Tuyet Thanh appointed as provincial People’s Court Chief Judge

Early August 30th, the Supreme People’s Court held a ceremony at provincial People's Court to announce a personnel decision. The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Tri Tue, Member of the Party Committee and Permanent Deputy Chief Judge of the Supreme People’s Court; Nguyen Tuong Linh, Member of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Supreme People's Court; Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from departments and agencies in the province.

At the ceremony, leader of the Supreme People’s Court handed over a decision on mobilizing and appointing Nguyen Thi Tuyet Thanh (born in 1974, Head of provincial Civil Judgment Execution Department) to the position of Chief Judge of provincial People’s Court for a five-year term starting from September 1, 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tue and Mr. Thao congratulated Mrs. Thanh on her new role while expressing confidence that in her new position, she will further uphold her previous achievements and join hands with the entire two-level court system in the province to fulfill targets and tasks assigned by the Party and the State.

In her acceptance speech for the new position, Mrs. Thanh expressed her gratitude for the trust and confidence of the Supreme People's Court and provincial leaders. She said that this appointment is both an honor and a significant responsibility entrusted by the Party and the State. She also mentioned that this is an opportunity for her to further train, strive and contribute to the development of the court system, aiming at better serving the common cause.

It is known that Mrs. Thanh previously served as Deputy Chief Judge of provincial People’s Court and has 26 years of continuous service in the court system. In January 2023, she was mobilized to the position of Director of provincial Civil Judgment Execution Department.
