North Tan Uyen District proactively prevents and controls diseases in livestock and poultry

According to data from People's Committee of North Tan Uyen district, up to now, the total poultry herd in the district is 1.11 million, with 1,891 buffaloes, cows and 52,823 pigs. The entire district currently has 59 farms, of which 30 farms operate in a closed, cold farm model.

From the beginning of this year, district authorities have organized 53 interdisciplinary inspections, detected and handled 8 cases of violation, imposed administrative fines with a total amount of 44.5 million VND and destroyed evidence.  In addition, the district also regularly monitors the epidemic situation in livestock and poultry, and at the same time issues many guiding documents to proactively implement prevention and control work to prevent epidemics from occurring in the area.
