North Tan Uyen kicks off second singing festival for the elderly

On October 20, North Tan Uyen district’s Association of the Elderly in collaboration with the district’s Cultural-Sports Center held the second singing festival for the elderly under the theme of “Homeland”.

The festival absorbed 10 troupes with more than 100 candidates, including officials, members and elderly people living in the district. Each troupe performed three items in praise of the Party, Uncle Ho, love for home land, Vietnamese people; Vietnamese heroes during the cause of national construction and defence…

This was one of the district’s meaningful activities taking care of the elderly while being a chance for them to exchange, helping them live joyfully, healthily and usefully.
