North Tan Uyen’s FFC mobilizes people's strength to build new-style countryside

In the last days of December, on model roads in 10 communes and towns in North Tan Uyen district, yellow bell flowers bloom, purple flowers stretch... Thanks to the mobilization of the people's strength, the district’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) and its branches have effectively organized the green - clean - beautiful movement, bringing a new look to the countryside.

Along with strengthening the propaganda and mobilization of people to promote the spirit of self-management in implementing the green - clean - beautiful movement, the FFCs of communes and towns in the district have held conferences to listen to the people’s plans, aiming to more effectively implement the campaign of "All people unite to build civilized urban and new-style rural areas".

Specifically, the FFC of Tan Thanh township has just coordinated with the town's People's Committee to organize the 2022 people's conference with the theme of "Tan Thanh people donate a plan on civilized urban construction". The Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, the FFC and mass organizations of the township fully participated in the conference and listened to the opinions of people in 6 quarters. At the conference, people had many opinions, including 9 draft plans in the field of urban rejuvenation, traffic safety, environment, the model of "Bright - clean - green - beautiful route"... Representative of the township’s People's Committee acknowledged the opinions of the people and informed more about the criteria specified in the implementation of new-style rural construction that need the people to further contribute to the implementation.

With synchronous implementation, communes and towns in the district have always determined that mobilizing people's strength to join hands in local construction is the top task. The FFC of Hieu Liem commune has also coordinated with the local People's Committee to organize a meeting of people's contributions and plans in the collection and treatment of waste. Representatives of the communal People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, sectors, mass organizations and more than 50 people attended the conference with the spirit of building solidarity. Participating in the conference, people were very excited because they contributed, made plans and collaborated with the local government to have effective ways for new-style rural construction.

From this conference, the people of Hieu Liem commune proposed to add more trash cans at each point and have garbage classification; regularly organized green Sundays to clean up rural roads to ensure green, clean and beautiful roads and alleys...Through the opinions and plans of the people, representatives of the communal People's Committee and Fatherland Front thanked the people for their enthusiasm in giving contributive ideas. That shows that people always uphold their sense of responsibility and believe in the Party and State’s guidelines and policies, joining hands with authorities in the local construction.

People working with self-management

Over the past time, the district’s FFCs at all levels made efforts in implementing the model of residential area with "clean - green - beautiful" landscape and environment, bringing about civilized cultural landscape, environment and lifestyle. Under the model, in the period of 2019-2022, people in communes and towns actively participated in registration, committed to collect and classify waste at source. Besides, the People's Committees of communes and townships equipped more trash cans on the roads. The Fatherland Front at the grassroots launched an emulation movement to implement green - clean roads to create a more beautiful environment. Since then, the district has not only had roads with beautiful ornamental plants, equipped with lights, small green landscapes, but also many roads in residential areas that are concreted and clean. On both sides of the roads, people have participated in arranging potted plants, stone benches and regularly keeping the surroundings clean.

According to the district’s FFC, the residential area model with "clean - green - beautiful" landscape and environment in the period of 2019-2022 was implemented in 61 self-governing people's groups with nearly 5,300 households to register for implementation. People from all strata in the district actively participated in implementing the model, regularly cleaning the environment, planting trees, flowers on roads, public places and house premises. Through more than 1,280 campaigns, the model attracted nearly 9,900 turns of people, with the length of the implemented routes reaching 51,735 meters. On the other hand, people contributed hundreds of millions of dong to upgrading roads and installing lights...

The right policy, the Party's will with the people has brought into play the strength of the whole political system in North Tan Uyen district, along with the great strength of the people, arousing patriotic emulation and joining hands in building the local civilized urban and advanced new-style rural areas.
