North Tan Uyen’s key projects need to be promoted

On the afternoon of March 10, provincial delegation, led by Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with North Tan Uyen district’s People's Committee on the results of implementing targets on socio-economic development, defense - security in 2022 and some key tasks for 2023.

In 2022, the district’s socio-economic situation remained stable, maintained security and order, reached and surpassed targets on socio-economic development under the resolutions of the district’s Party Committee and People's Council. The district also well realized policies on social welfare. In 2023, the district will strive to increase its values of industrial production and forestry production by 3.7%-4.7% and 11.5%-13.5%, respectively. The district will also try to grow its total retail sales revenue of goods and services by 14%-16% compared to 2022; reduce the number of poor households by 20% under the province’s poverty line... At the meeting, the district’s People's Committee petitioned provincial People's Committee to handle the land of War Zone D agro-forestry farm; invest in wastewater treatment stations in the local administrative center and resettlement areas …

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Minh acknowledged petitions by the district. He also noted the district to accelerate the implementation of traffic planning and resettlement planning; associate planning in urban development; speed up the progress of compensation and clearance, carry out key works, especially traffic ones with regional connectivity.

Earlier, provincial People's Committee Chairman and members of the delegation inspected the construction of the War Zone D Memorial; DH429 road project that is about to be invested from Tan Thanh town to Binh My commune.
