North Tan Uyen’s Women’s Union offers help to needy women

In a bid to realize poverty reduction and job creation, North Tan Uyen district’s Women’s Union and its branches were flexible to apply policies, helping female-headed houses escape poverty.

After three-year implementation, the district’s Women’s Union helped 1,570 women get VND16billion in loan for economic development through movements, models, namely “Women helping each other in economic development”, “Saving day for poor women”…The district’s Women’s Union also mobilized organizations and individuals to build, upgrade 3 houses worth more than VND436million for needy women, offer 10 saving books worth VND10million and introduce jobs to 1,879 women…
