Numerous volunteer activities to build civilized urban and new-style rural areas implemented

Early December 31, provincial Youth Union and Youth Federation held a conference to review Youth Union activities, children-teenagers’ movements in 2024, outline orientations and tasks for 2025, in attendance of Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission.

In 2024, provincial Youth Unions at all levels organized 565 volunteer activities to contribute to building new-style rural areas, resulting in the repair of 46.7 kilometers of rural roads, the construction and illumination of 18 kilometers of rural roads and the clearing of 5 kilometers of waterways. Additionally, 488 volunteer activities were carried out to support the development of civilized urban areas, including the launch and maintenance of 375 "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, civilized and safe" streets. Furthermore, provincial Youth Union implemented provincial Party Committee’s Project 02-ĐA/TU on "Mass mobilization for promoting cultural and civilized lifestyles”…

In 2025, the Youth Union work's theme will be "Binh Duong's Youth: Proud and Confident in Following the Party". Provincial Youth Unions at all levels will organize emulation movements and take on youth-led projects and tasks to celebrate Party congresses at all levels while further promoting the three breakthrough missions of the Youth Union for the 2022-2027 tenure.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nhan commended achievements done by the Youth Union's work and youth movements in 2024. He also urged provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to focus on promoting and educating youth on historical traditions, continue innovating methods, activities and foster the spirit of dedication, volunteerism and proactiveness among young people. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of advising on the development and implementation of policies for training and utilizing young human resources and executing projects, tasks and targets to evaluate proposed projects effectively…

At the conference, provincial Youth Union launched the theme of the 2025 work, emulation campaign to celebrate Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, organized commitments by districts, cities’ Youth Unions and their branches to achieve the 2025 work targets.

On this occasion, provincial Youth Union and Youth Federation awarded emulation flags, certificates of merit and certificates of recognition to units and collectives with outstanding achievements in their work in 2024.
