Attractive and useful
The profession of MC (Master of Ceremonies) is currently one of the most attractive jobs for dynamic young persons. And, the contest Finding hosting talent "School MC" in Binh Duong was attractive, because each contest season attracted the participation of a large number of students from schools in the province.
As a first-time contestant, Nguyen Ngoc Mai An (student of class 8A2, My Phuoc Junior High School, Ben Cat Town) believes that MC is a job that connects the audience closer to a program and is also her dream. Mai An loves standing on stage, showing her bravery and interacting with the audience as a host. Therefore, she participated in the competition with the desire to learn more from the coaches and excellently won first prize in Group B.
Also a first-time contestant, Nguyen Hoang Gia Han (student of class 11X2, Dau Tieng High School, Dau Tieng district), said the contest helped him learn many new things. He knows how to put himself into the script, put his soul into the content he is about to convey. In particular, I also learned how to handle the voice, how to communicate on stage and how to attract the audience more. Gia Han was most impressed with the comments from director Du Dan Chau: “When working as an MC, you must have understanding and empathy, because the MC job is a job where you have to bring emotions and know how to immerse yourself in the content so that you yourself can understand and feel the content brought to the audience. Then you I can share your thoughts, bringing the meaning of the content to everyone in a real way, not acting."
Confidently shine
The 12 contestants in the final round were divided into 6 couples (2 pairs in each group) and had extremely unique competitions, creating new features, leaving an impression on the jury and the audience. With their own traits, all were shown impressively right on stage with two competitions: Two MCs carry out their duties in a program prescribed by the Organizing Committee and answer questions from the judges.
Two parts of the competition are exciting experiences of topics prescribed by the Organizing Committee and the contestants building their own scripts under the guidance of the Advisory Council. In the questioning part, the judges raised questions and situations for MCs to handle on stage... Many contestants showed excellent eloquence when answering questions of the judges. In addition, the students also showed their bravery when giving their own opinions on the topics they chose for their competition.
As a companion to the contest from the first season, MC Ngoc Loan, an TV anchor of Binh Duong Radio and Television Station, said that 2020 is a year of many changes in this competition with "Powerful Voice" part. This is a part that helps students express their voice and convey their emotions through the program they choose. This year alone, the number of contestants was really large (200 contestants). The large number of registrations shows that the contest is of good quality, because the organizers are very enthusiastic about this playground. Through this, we can also see the passion in students and the competition is truly a place for them to experience and shine.
Sharing about the journey of cherishing and successfully organizing seven school MC seasons, Nguyen Phan Thai Anh, Director of Provincial Children's House, said that each year, contestants of the contest always have new things and are professional and maturity through competition rounds. Each exam season brought new emotions, from organization to judging, all are professionally prepared, helping contestants confidently shine with their passion for being an MC.
