The task of fostering, educating outstanding Youth union members to recommend them to the Party has always been attached special importance to by the Youth Union. Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has focused on implementing motivational solutions so that outstanding Youth Union members will continue training hard, contributing their intelligence and upholding their volunteer role.

Building up trust

In the exciting days of March, young people have enthusiastically competed to make achievements to celebrate the 92nd founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2023). In a dignified atmosphere, the province's outstanding Youth Union members offered flowers, incense to express their gratitude at the Monument of Di An Railway Factory Historic Site in Di An city. This was an activity in the "Red Seed" journey organized by provincial Youth Union. The first point of the young people joining the journey was the historical site of Di An Railway Factory - the birthplace of one of the first communist cells of the Southern Party Committee. This activity had educational significance for young people introduced to the Party for consideration and admission.

During the journey, 45 outstanding Youth Union members visited and heard explanations about the heroic history of the relic. After that, the delegation moved to the People's Committee of Di An city and participated in a traditional talk with the topic of “Aspiration for dedication – Youth’s reason for living". During the talk, Pham Ngoc An, Head of the city’s Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission, Director of the city's Political Center shared contents on upholding youth’s volunteer role; care, education of politics, education, morality, cultural lifestyle, revolutionary tradition, patriotism for young people...

After that, provincial Youth Union held a talk show to improve the quality of training and recommending outstanding Youth Union members to the Party with the theme of "Youth Union members striving to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam" and praise outstanding Youth Union members. At the event, Youth Union members and delegates exchanged and shared solutions to improve the quality of Party development work among Youth Union members and solutions to foster and recommend outstanding Youth Union members to the Party for consideration and admission.

The journey "Nurturing red seeds" is an educational activity of revolutionary ideals, fostering trust and praising outstanding Youth Union members recommended to the Party for consideration and admission, thereby enhancing the roles and responsibilities of all-level Youth Unions in actively fostering and developing Party membership sources.

Motivating, cheering

Over the past time, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee implemented solutions to foster and improve the quality of outstanding Youth Union members and deployed the task of reviewing and introducing outstanding candidates to the Party for consideration and admission among all-level Youth Unions. In addition, provincial Youth Unions at all levels also paid attention to political and ideological education and effectively upheld the role of the youth to promote the implementation of the campaign "Youth Union members strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam" in the period of 2021-2025. Provincial Youth Unions at all levels were also proactive to implement programs introducing outstanding members to the Party for consideration, admission and carry out the task of raising youth awareness of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the occasion of the country’s great holidays.

In addition, fostering Youth Union cadres for Party admission was closely concerned and directed by the Party organization and Youth Union through selecting outstanding Youth Union members and sending them to classes on youth mobilization organized by provincial Youth Union Standing Committee. Youth Union cadres were trained and equipped with necessary knowledge and skills in accordance with regulations, meeting the requirements and standards to be introduced to political classes for candidates for the Party. On the other hand, provincial Youth Unions at all levels focused on recommending outstanding Youth Union members to the Party. In the 2017-2022 term, the whole Youth Union had more than 5,100 outstanding Youth Union cadres and members to be admitted to the Party.

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of provincial Youth Union said: "Provincial Youth Union has proposed a number of solutions to improve the task of training and recommending outstanding Youth Union members to the Party. Accordingly, the Youth Union Standing Committees of districts, towns and cities must improve their responsibilities, ensure the quality and criteria for admission to the Party for outstanding Youth Union members; step up revolutionary action movements, creating a favorable environment for outstanding Youth Union members to learn and be aware of the Party and strive to become Party members; uphold Party members’ role of setting examples and join hands with outstanding Youth Union members to further make efforts in working, studying and being ardent for the sake of the community and society".
