Offering help to the handicapped, orphans and poor patients
Nguyen Van Nam, Chairman of provincial Sponsoring Association for Disable People, Orphans and Poor Patients said that since 2011, the association has actively developed its fund by many forms, aiming to carry out key programs and groups of measures to support the local disadvantaged people.
Upon this fund, the association has supported cataract, heart and rehabilitation surgeries for 2,811 needy people; provided free medical check-ups and medicine for 8,169 others…It also presented 812 wheelchairs to the handicapped, 1,281 bicycles to orphan and disable children; built 107 houses of compassion for the handicapped and orphans; donated 11 toilets to the families of the handicapped, orphans and poor patients…
