Early November 23, provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Ho Chi Minh city-based Cho Ray Hospital’s Blood Transfusion Center to organize a voluntary blood donation festival for the local officials, civil servants, public employees and workers at provincial Convention and Exhibition Center.
From the noble meaning of donating blood to save lives and the spirit of serving the community, sharing red blood to help sick people in critical situations, many officials, civil servants, public employees and workers from agencies, departments, sectors and organizations of the province registered to donate blood voluntarily during the festival. Those who registered were given health advice and examination to ensure safety during the blood donation process.
As a result, the organization board of the festival received 337 units of blood. This was one of the meaningful activities organized by provincial Red Cross Society in celebration of the 77th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (November 23, 1946 - November 23, 2023).
