Olympic Running Day for People’s Health 2023 launched

Early March 12, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a ceremony to launch the Olympic Running Day for People’s Health 2023 in Binh Duong New City.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council; leaders of agencies, departments, sponsors, delegations from 9 districts, towns, cities, primary and secondary schools in the province.

The organization of the festival aims at mobilizing all people to exercise their body following the great Uncle Ho's example while celebrating the 92nd founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2023) and the 77th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2023). Through the festival, the province's culture, sport and tourism sector hopes to have a large number of people regularly practicing and competing in sports, contributing to improving the community’s health to better serve the cause of national construction and defense.
