Online meetings to review five-year implementation of learning-based society and vocational training for rural laborers held

*Over 3,400 rural laborers in Binh Duong get vocational training

Early Sept.7, Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan presided over an online meeting to review the five-year implementation of the project on building up learning-based society between 2005 and 2010.

The country’s community learning centers saw a rapid increase with more than 383,650 people attending classes on eradication of illiterancy and further education over the past five years.

For Binh Duong, as of late 2011, all 91 communes, wards and townships had community learning centers with the quality of learning and teaching improved.

*The same day, Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan also chaired an online meeting on the project of vocational training for rural laborers.

In the first half of 2012, Binh Duong provided vocational training for 578 rural laborers. Binh Duong has so far given vocational training to 3,421 rural laborers under the Decision No.1956/QD-TTg.
