Open Taekwondo of Southeast Region 2021 started

Early April 22, at the arena of Center for Sports Training and Competition of Binh Duong province was the starting ceremony of Open Taekwondo of Southeast Region 2021.

The tournament was to response to the movement of health training by the great example of President Ho Chi Minh and the major festivals in 2021.

This year’s tournament gathered participation of 6 teams of Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau and Binh Duong as home team.

The attending teams

Nearly 80 fighters including 44 females and 36 males will in individual combat at categories of 54-87 kg for males and 44-73 kg for females in the competition lasting from April 22 through 24.

After the tournament would be another tournament for fighters from 9 districts, towns, and cities of the province from April 24 through 25.
