Operational contents, methods improved to adapt to digital transformation

*Phu My ward’s Trade Union congress for 2023-2028 tenure opens

On the afternoon of February 17, the Trade Union of provincial Labor Union held its 9th congress for the 2023-2028 tenure. This was the main congress of the emulation cluster No. 1 of provincial Trade Union for State employees.

During the last tenure, the activities of provincial Labor Union's Trade Union achieved outstanding results in propaganda and education, creating a change in political and ideological awareness, contributing to building up a strong contingent of cadres, civil servants and trade unionists members, meeting the requirements in the national period of industrialization and modernization. The Executive Board of the Trade Union advised the Party Committee and coordinated with authorities in setting up operational programs, launching patriotic emulation movements in association with the campaign of building up officials and civil servants with "loyalty, responsibility, creation and integrity”...

The congress also set out goals, orientations and solutions, including mobilizing all resources  to perform the tasks of representing, protecting trade unionists ‘legitimate rights and interests; further innovating the contents and methods of trade union activities, making digital transformation, building digital Trade Unions, digital trade unionists... for the new tenure.

The congress elected 5 delegates for the Executive Board of the Trade Union for the new tenure. Nguyen Thuy Minh Ha continued being elected as Chairwoman of the 9th Trade Union of provincial Labor Union for the 2023-2028 tenure; elected 2 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to provincial State employees ‘Trade Union congress for the 2023-2028 tenure.

*On the morning of the same day, the Trade Union of Phu My ward held its 6th congress for the 2023-2028 tenure. This is the unit chosen by Thu Dau Mot city’s Labor Union to organize a main Trade Union congress to draw experience in directing the congress throughout the city.

In the 2017-2023 tenure, the Trade Union paid more attention to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of officials, civil servants and employees; regularly carried out propaganda and development of Party members. During the last term, 13 trade unionists were recommended to the Communist Party of Vietnam… In the term of 2023-2028, the ward’s Trade Union will continue well performing Party building, further strengthen the work of developing members, consolidate and build a strong Trade Union organization...

With the spirit of concentration and democracy, the congress elected the 6th Executive Board of the ward’s Trade Union for the 2023-2028 tenure, consisting of 5 members. Comrade Nguyen Thi My Khanh was re-elected as Chairwoman of the ward’s 6^th Trade Union for the 2023-2028 tenure.
