Outstanding achievements in the fields of culture, sports and tourism plenty

In the morning of July 8 in Bau Bang district, a conference took place to review the work of culture, sports and tourism in the first 6 months of 2022, implementing orientations and tasks for the last 6 months of 2022.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism focused on advising the provincial People's Committee to develop and promulgate a number of plans and projects of the period up to 2025 with orientation to 2030. Implementating good visual propaganda, cultural and artistic activities, practical physical training and sports to celebrate national holidays, major anniversaries and local political events, many sports and movement tournaments have been integrated with the "Olympic Running Day for the Health of the People". Provincial sports teams participated in the competition and achieved many achievements, notably contributing to the Vietnam team to win 14 medals (5 gold, 8 silver, 1 bronze) at Segame 31. Reopening tourism activities under new normal conditions has been showing positive signs as the total number of visitors and revenue both increased over the same period in 2021.

Mr. Nguyen Khoa Hai, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism suggested that units should continue to focus on visual propaganda and organize cultural and artistic activities, film screenings, display and introduce books, newspapers, photos, thematic artifacts to celebrate major holidays while implementing the key tasks of the Project of "Development of high-achieving sports in Binh Duong province in the period to 2025 with orientation to 2030", develop the implementation plan of "Strategy on development of physical training and sports in Vietnam to 2030 with orientation to 2050."
