TDM city’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation has just held a conference to honor 79 individuals who have given blood three times in 2013.

In the first half of the year, the Steering Board teamed up with HCM city-based Cho Ray Hospital’s Center for Hematology and Blood Transfusion to collect 652 units of blood or 46.5% of the whole year’s target. With the messages of “New bloodline for you and me”, “Blood donation to save people for a healthy community”, TDM city has so far set up 14 voluntary blood donation squads in communes and wards with 382 members, 37 voluntary blood donation squads at schools with 126 members and 14 reserve blood donation squads with 150 members.
