Outstanding collectives, individuals in investigating gold shop robbery honored

Colonel Tran Van Chinh, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency has just awarded the certificates of merit from provincial Police Director to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the investigation of the robbery of a gold shop in Bau Bang district’s Lai Uyen town.

Previously, on April 3, after the robbery of a gold shop in Bau Bang district’s Lai Uyen town, using professional measures, provincial Police Agency identified Pham Hoang Hung (born 1996, residing in Ho Chi Minh city’s district 6) as one of 4 people involved in the case. After committing the crime, Hung hid at a casino in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Binh Duong provincial Police Agency exchanged information with Tay Ninh provincial Police Agency to coordinate for verification and arrest. At 10:00 a.m. on April 14, the forces arrested the subject and handed him over to Binh Duong provincial Police Agency for handling under the regulations.

With this achievement, the Criminal Police Departments of the Police Agencies of Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces were rewarded. Also at the commendation ceremony, the two units held a signing ceremony to strengthen coordination and exchange experience in the fight against crime.
