The transition from 2024 to 2025 also marks the 28th anniversary of the establishment of Binh Duong province (January 1, 1997 - January 1, 2025), a moment filled with dreams and aspirations for reaching new heights. On this meaningful occasion, Binh Duong province will host several celebratory activities, including a ceremony to honor outstanding individuals of 2024 on the evening of December 31 at the park of provincial Administrative Center.

Thus, 2024 is coming to a close, leaving behind many memorable milestones for Binh Duong province. Overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges, with the solidarity, collective effort and determination of the Party, government, armed forces and people, Binh Duong has achieved positive results in aspects. These achievements are the result of the contributions made by people from all strata. From different positions, roles and fields of work, the people of Binh Duong have united to build and develop the province, further affirming its position in the nation’s overall progress. The outstanding individuals honored on this occasion are the brightest flowers, those who have made significant contributions to the province's development in various fields over the past time.

It is expected that the province will honor and reward 20 exemplary individuals from various fields, including economy, culture, society, national defense and security at the event. Each person works, studies or contributes in a different position or field, but they all share a common goal: striving for the prosperity of their homeland and province. In 2024, Binh Duong’s high-performance sports continued achieving positive results, with many athletes competing and winning championships at continental and world levels, bringing glory to Vietnamese and provincial sports. To encourage the spirit of Binh Duong athletes who gained high achievements in continental and world competitions and to recognize the efforts by coaches in training athletes with outstanding achievements in 2024, the province will also honor and reward athletes and sports coaches who excelled at the 2023 and 2024 international sports tournaments at the event.

In 2025, along with the whole country, Binh Duong province will continue striving to successfully achieve the socio-economic development goals and tasks set for the 2020-2025 tenure. The province will further build up a civilized, modern, prosperous and compassionate city, aiming at becoming a centrally run city by 2030 and a hub of innovation in the future. To achieve these goals, every citizen of Binh Duong will further unite, demonstrate dynamism, creativity and contribute their efforts to building up a more and more prosperous homeland, nation and province.
