Outstanding women honored

Thu Dau Mot city’s Women’s Union has organized many significant programs to celebrate the 91^st founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20) towards the city’s Women's Congress for the 2021-2026 tenure. Specifically, the city’s Women's Unions at all levels donated houses of compassions, built flower roads, and cared for children and women facing difficulties, due to Covid-19...

In addition, the City Women's Union built 11 houses of compassion worth VND 621 million for women  with extremely difficult circumstances; bought accident insurance for 110 heads of Women’s Union branches with a total amount of nearly VND30 million; gave gifts worth more than VND500 million for thousands of poor members and women.

It is known that over the past 5 years, the city’s Women’s Union honored many outstanding women in the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.5, association activities and emulation movement of “Good women in production-business”. The city’s Women’s Union also commended and rewarded nearly 2,000 outstanding officials and members in association activities and women's movements; awarded the mementos "For the development cause of Vietnamese women" to 86 individuals...
