Over 1,300 local units organize grassroots sports tournaments

Under the movement of “All people take physical exercises following the example of great Uncle Ho”, the whole province has to date had a total of more than 300 volleyball teams, 1,500 amateur football teams, more than 8,000 badminton and table tennis athletes.

Trade Unions at all levels of the province have also mobilized more than 100,000 employees to regularly take physical exercise in the morning and participate in many other sports activities.

Over the past years, more than 1,300 local units organized grassroots sports tournaments with events: football, volleyball, badminton, athletics, swimming, cycling…There was also a robust development in sports activities among non-State enterprises. Many units well maintained their annual sports tournaments with a vigorous evolution in football event.
