Over 100,000 laborers stay in Binh Duong to enjoy Tet

It is predicted that there will be more than 100,000 laborers staying in Binh Duong to welcome the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2020 or more than 10% of laborers herein.

This year, the province will organize a lot of significant activities taking care of laborers staying herein to enjoy Tet. They include contests on making “banh chung” (square glutinous rice cake), “banh tet” (cylindric glutinous rice cake), lucky draw programs, the “Tet sum vay” (Gathering in Tet holiday) program 2020…

As surveyed, the whole province now has 12,870 workers with difficult circumstances. Provincial People’s Committee will support 11,150 gifts from the local State budget to these workers. Provincial Labor Union will also mobilize trade unions at all levels and hundreds of enterprises to donate gifts and organize recreational activities for them.
