Over 191,500 patients under laser acupuncture

Early Mar.30, provincial Medical Laser Society forwarded its 4^th congress for the 2016-2020 tenure.

The society promoted its network, trained technicians on laser acupuncture, researched and implemented applications for medical treatment over the past five years. There were 191,599 patients being treated by laser acupuncture with total value based on health insurance of more than VND3.8bln. Members of the society also provided free medical treatment by laser acupuncture for more than 33,000 orphans, policy beneficiaries, lonely elderly and poor people with total value of VND667mln.

Over the past five years, there were 45 collectives and individuals awarded the certificates of merit and the mementoes “For the cause of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations”. The congress also elected a new executive board of the society for the 2016-2020 tenure with 19 members.
