Over 2,000 gifts granted to needy and privileged families

Bau Bang district People’s Committee just decided to grant over 2,000 gifts and cash to poor and privileged households, needy children and laborers on the coming Tet holiday.

Accordingly, the district will donate 100 gifts and cash to poor people, 1,355 gifts to privileged families, 197 others to poor households, 100 unlucky children, 250 to laborers, 20 to poor soldiers and 21 others and cash to other subjects as stipulated by the State with the total cost of VND1.365bil.

Aside from taking care of material life, Bau Bang district accelerates activities of spiritual life for local people through holding musical shows, sport contests and entertainment playgrounds for local residents.
