Over 2,770 members of local Farmers Associations at all levels and their children get vocational training

In 2014, the Farmers’ Vocational Training and Support Center under provincial Farmers Association held 19 vocational training classes for farmers and their children.

At the classes, learners were guided how to tap rubber latex, grow ornamental plants, mushroom as well as techniques in animal husbandry and veterinary. Districts, towns and TDM city also teamed up with the Divisions of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Divisions of Economics, vocational colleges…to organize 63 vocational training classes for 1,639 learners.

The center also joined hands with the Plant Protection Stations, the Agricultural Promotion Centers, Dong Phu Garment Company…to hold 22 short-term vocational training classes for 533 learners.

As a result, there were more than 2,770 members of the local Farmers Associations at all levels and their children with vocational training in 2014. This contributed to raising rural laborers’ awareness of vocational learning and helping them get stable jobs.
