Over 210 disabled people, orphans get support on livelihood

Since early 2011, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients’ livelihood support project has helped 213 households of the handicapped and orphans in 10 communes under the new-style rural construction program of the province with a total expense of VND1.3bln.
The association has also supported mother cows for additional 28 disabled households, bringing the total number of mother cows so far to 70. Thanks to the attention and help of the association, many disabled people, orphans and their families have got jobs with stable income, contributing to well realizing some criteria of the local new-style rural construction program.
