Over 250 people in Phu Giao give blood

Early July 13, Phu Giao district’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation in collaboration with the HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center held the fourth voluntary blood donation campaign of 2016.

The campaign absorbed more than 250 participants, including officials, civil servants, Youth Union members and Red Cross volunteers. As a result, the organizers received 186 units of blood, equivalent to 65,100 milliliters of blood.

Since early this year, the district has collected 963 units of blood. It is know that this year, the district’s target on voluntary blood donation mobilization is to collect 1,500 units of blood.
