Over 270 people give blood

Early Dec.17, Prudential Insurance Co.Ltd’s Binh Duong branch, in collaboration with the HCM city-based Cho Ray Hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center and the HCM city Blood Donation Steering Board, held a humanitarian blood donation program with the theme of “Song xanh-song khoe” (Green living-healthy living).

More than 270 volunteers took part in the program with 230 units of blood given (photo). It is known that the program has been launched nationwide with the goal of mobilizing volunteers to grow 1,200 green trees and donate their blood to hospitals in order to ensure blood supply for patients.

The program is seen as a significant gift of Prudential towards the community. It will be further organized with many other social activities bearing a profound humanitarian significance.
