Over 30,000 rural laborers offered jobs

Early March 1, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and Ho Minh Phuong, former Chairman of provincial People’s Committee paid a working visit to Ba Nhat bamboo rattan cooperative in Tan Uyen town’s Uyen Hung ward.

The cooperative’s products with hundreds of thousands of patterns are now present in more than 30 countries with the annual export turnover of more than US$10mln. The cooperative has so far created jobs for more than 30,000 rural laborers and mistaken people. In Binh Duong alone, it is offering jobs to more than 400 laborers with the average income of between VND4mln-VND5mln per person per month.

At the working session, Mr.Liem spoke highly of successes done by the cooperative as well as its contributions to generating jobs for those who have difficult circumstances. He hoped that the cooperative will further get more successes in bringing its traditional handicraft items to countries in the world.
