Over 300 Covid-19 patients discharged in a day

On November 1, provincial Department of Health recorded 682 cases of Covid-19 (up 10 compared to October 31) confirmed by RT-PCR test. Among them, 499 were detected in the blockade area cases, 84 in the isolation areas, 57 at medical facilities, 42 in the community.  

Localities with the highest number of Covid-19 cases were Di An city with 184, Ben Cat town with 152, Thu Dau Mot city with 117, Thuan An city with 90, Tan Uyen town with 73, Dau Tieng with 30, North Tan Uyen with 17 and Phu Giao with 17. There were also 677 cases detected via rapid tests, up 79 compared to October 31.

Regarding treatment, 308 patients were discharged and recovered on November 1. There were 320 patients hospitalized while 11 patients died. Since the 4th wave of Covid-19 pandemic, the whole province has recorded 233,740 cases of Covid-19. Among them, 231,576 patients were cured, discharged and 2,434 others died.

As of now, the whole province has administered 3,938,765 doses of Covid-19 vaccine on people. There have been 2,344,117 people with the first shot and 1,594,648 people with the second dose. The province has also implemented a Covid-19 vaccination drive for children aged 15-17 from October 31.
