A delegation from provincial Committee for Cultural and Social Affairs, provincial General Hospital, Tan Uyen district’s Red Cross Society…, on April 24, provided free medical check-ups and medicine for more than 300 old people and needy households in Tan Uyen district’s four communes of Tan Thanh, Tan Dinh, Tan Lap and Dat Cuoc (photo) on the 36th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Re-unification (April 30, 1975-April 30, 2011).

 The delegation also donated more than 300 gifts worth nearly VND300,000 each to old people and needy households in the above communes. It is known that this social charity program has a total cost of VND80mln, funded by Tay Ho restaurant and many other donors.
