Late March 18, the Steering Board No. 24 of the province held its conference summing up 2 years of effectuating policies under Decision No. 62/2011/QD-TTg of Prime Minister from 2012 to 2013 and Plan NO. 656/KH-UBND dated March 10, 2014 by Provincial People’s Committee. As reported by the board, by the end of January 2014, Provincial Army HQ has proposed its higher authority to offer preference to 5,346 people under Decision No. 62 of Prime Minister. Military HQ of the 7th Corp. made decision upon allowance payments to 4,059 people at the cost of nearly 16.7 billion. Under the plan, by September 2014, submission profiles of people of concern shall be basically established for proposal to competent authorities for policy resolution. It is expected that by the end of 2014, the province shall conclude implementation of Decision No. 62 of the Prime Minister.At the conference, delegates listened to announcement of incorporation decision to set up Steering Board No. 1237 of the province and launching of implementation plan for Decision No. 1237/QD-TTg dated July 27, 2013 of the Prime Minister approving the project of seeking and collecting martyrs’ remains from now to 2020 and years after next.Reported by Tri Dung – Translated by Vi Bao
