Over 5,760 hectares of cultivation soil benefited from high tech

Update: 10-10-2024 | 14:41:51

Up to now, 5,764 hectares of high-tech agricultural areas in the province are cultivated with valuable crops such as vegetables, mushrooms, fruit trees, orchids, ornamental plants. A typical example is the An Thai high-tech agricultural area in Phu Giao district with a total area of about 410 hectares. This agricultural area cultivates high-value crops, with an automated computer-controlled greenhouse system from Israel following GlobalGAP standards, and the main products are mainly for export.

Currently, the model of growing fruit trees (oranges, tangerines, pomelos) is being expanded in the localities of Tan Uyen city, Bau Bang district, and Dau Tieng district. These models apply new technical advances in production, such as automatic irrigation systems combined with covering measures to handle flowering and fruiting seasons. The average yield of fruit orchards reaches 30-40 tons per ha, with revenues ranging from 300-500 million VND per ha.
