Over 500 Covid-19 patients recovered and discharged from hospital

*Administering 61,457 doses of Covid-19 vaccine on children aged 15-17

On November 2, provincial Department of Health announced that the province recorded 780 new Covid-19 cases through RT-PCR testing (an increase of 98 cases compared to November 1).

Particularly, there were 198 cases in Ben Cat town, 195 cases in Di An city, 138 cases in Thu Dau Mot city, 110 cases in Tan Uyen town, 110 cases in Tan Uyen town, 51 cases in Thuan An city, 29 cases in Dau Tieng district, 21 cases in Bau Bang district, 21 cases in North Tan Uyen district, 13 cases in Phu Giao district and 4 cases outside the province. Since the fourth wave of the pandemic, the province has recorded 234,520 cases of Covid-19.

Also on the day, there were 513 patients discharged, 204 patients hospitalized and 19 deaths. Currently, the whole province is still treating 5,300 Covid-19 patients, including more than 2,300 patients being treated at home and more than 3,000 patients at three treatment floors. Thus, up to now, the province has had 231,926 patients discharged and recovered and 2,453 deaths.

Regarding vaccination against Covid-19, on November 2, districts, towns and cities in the province continued vaccinating children aged 15-17. According to statistics, the whole province has administered 61,457 doses of Covid-19 vaccine on children after 3 days of implementation. Thus, the province has so far injected more than 3.95 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine on people. There have been more than 2.35 million people injected with the first shot and more than 1.59 million with the second shot.
