Over 57,700 health insurance cards granted to poor, near-poor people

According to provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affair, the  province over the past two years granted a total of 57,743 health insurance cards to the local poor and near-poor people.

The province also continued implementing preferential policies on education for the offspring of poor households and those who are under the regulations of school fee reduction and exemption. Particularly, the province reduced and waived school fees for 19,919 pupils. There were also 285,084 primary school pupils exempted from school fees and 25,715 others supported the monthly learning cost of VND70,000 each.
