Over 600 athletes attend 2011 national young Chinese chess champs

The 2011 National Young Chinese Chess Championship-Dragon Capital Cup has just kicked off at the Lac Canh Dai Nam Van Hien Tourist Complex in southern Binh Duong province.

The event has absorbed more than 600 chess players aged between 7 and 20 from 30 provinces and cities nationwide. They will compete in three events, namely standard chess, quick chess and blitz.

 

HCM city and Ha Noi are two candidates for the championship title at the tournament. It is known that the tournament will end on July 21 ahead.
