Over 8,500 locals get access to communication campaigns on family planning
The 5th conference of the 3rd provincial Family Planning Association opened on the morning of January 14 to review activities of the association in 2014 and define orientations through 2015.
Last year, provincial Family Planning Association and its affiliates received more attention from the People’s Committees at all levels of the province and the Vietnam Family Planning Association. They also continued increasing coordination with provincial Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and other mass organizations; sped up communication campaigns in association with providing many services on reproductive healthcare…Their role and position continued being affirmed, positively contributing to implementing the local strategies on reproductive healthcare, population and family planning. As a result, they last year organized 45 communication campaigns with the participation of 8,552 people, including 2,310 teenagers; provided services on reproductive healthcare and family planning for 14,849 people at clinics.
At the conference, provincial Family Planning Association also defined 2015’s orientations with key contents, including making diversification of channels to get access to services on reproductive healthcare and family planning; increasing and improving their quality…
