Over 87,000ml blood given

Tan Uyen district’s Red Cross Society, Farmers’ Society and Labor Union have jointly held the third voluntary blood donation of 2012.

More than 250 people who are members of the local Farmers’ Society, civil servants and militia force attended the event with more than 87,000ml blood.

Tan Uyen district’s humanitarian blood donation campaign has received positive response of people from all walks of life in recent years. Since early this year, the district has organized such three campaigns with nearly 700 units of blood (equivalent to 245,000ml blood) given.
