Over 95% workers resume work after the Tet holiday

So far, there have been 95% of workers resuming work after the Tet holiday, according to provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA).

 Nguyen Phung Trung, deputy director of DoLISA affirmed that province-based businesses sufficiently made policies on the Tet bonus and salary for their workers. Many have also given tien li xi (lucky money) for their workers right after they have resumed work after the Tet holiday. But, four companies did not realized policies on the Tet bonus and salary for more than 50 laborers, due to bankruptcy. Localities and relevant agencies also gave timely support for these workers.

 There has been no report about the shortage of laborers in province-based businesses. But, according to provincial DoLISA, province-based businesses need around 15,000 laborers after the Tet holiday.
