Over 98% of provincial War Veterans Association’s members recognized as exemplary ones

 Attending the congress were Doan Minh Chien, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam War Veterans Association; Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee together with other provincial leaders, heroes of the people’s armed forces and 230 war veterans.

Provincial War Veterans Associations at all levels promoted the patriotic emulation movement of “exemplary war veterans” among members over the past time. So far, provincial War Veterans Association has had 98% of affiliates reaching the title of strong and transparent ones. More than 98% of members have obtained the title of exemplary ones…With achievements done, provincial War Veterans Association were also awarded the Party and State’s noble prizes.

Addressing the congress, Mr.Tu praised provincial War Veterans Associations at all levels for their achievements over the past time while wanting that they would redress shortcomings, continue bring into play the tradition of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, be exemplary in implementing entrusted tasks and movements, contributing to promoting the local development.

On this occasion, two collectives were awarded the emulation banners. Many other collectives and individuals also received the certificates of merit of the Central Committee of the Vietnam War Veterans Association and provincial People’s Committee.
